Barbara became a friend to a group of us that volunteered in Lourdes. We visited her house a few times and helped with her garden and she bought us all veggie sandwiches from the local shop. We listened to her extraordinary stories about her life and adventures around the world. She often called me to catch up and find out what the red cap helpers were up to. She was a wonderful presence and her positive outlook on life was contagious. I will remember those times spent with Barbara and miss our catch ups. Thanks for all the laughs and advice over the years. Rest in peace xx
